If you want to go to some regions in Georgia quickly, then you can take advantage of domestic flights. To do so, you will need to make your way to Natakhtari Airport. The airport, which is about a 20-30-minute drive away from Tbilisi, is offering flights to Mestia, Batumi, and Ambrolauri. Kutaisi Airport is also operating flights to the mountainous areas seasonally.

Tickets

To make sure that you get to where you want to go, you should purchase your tickets in advance at https://ticket.vanillasky.ge/ and check that the flight has not been delayed due to bad weather.

Natakhtari Airport provides a transfer from Tbilisi to Natakhtari. You'll get more information once you have your tickets booked.

Once you're at the airport, in no more than an hour at most, you will end up where you planned to go.

Flights

There are flights to Mestia, Svaneti Region, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from Natakhtari. On the same days you can also take the flight back, from Mestia to Natakhtari.

You can also fly from Kutaisi Airport to Mestia, but only on Wednesdays. 

If you want to fly to Racha Region, or more specifically to Ambrolauri, then you will have to set aside Friday or Sunday for that. Besides the regularly-scheduled flights, there is also an air taxi service from Natakhtari to Ambrolauri, and you can also set up a unique kind of air trip. This service is mostly used by those who love to take pictures and videos while in the air.

If you decide to take advantage of a flight, you will not only save time, but you will also be able to see the beautiful nature of Georgia, including the mountains and the fields, the forests and the rivers, from far on high. This is an exceptional sight to see, for sure.
