Batumi Art and Music Center

What does Batumi Art and Music Center have to offer? 

Built in 1953 and interesting in its own right, this beautiful building, in which the center is located, can be found at Dimitriade Street 1. It represents a synthesis of modern and classical architecture, with a luxurious hall decorated with a large Spanish chandelier and 1,100 seats. Moreover, there is an exhibition space on the third floor of the building. After its reconstruction in 2011, the facade of the building was changed and colorful lighting was added, making it especially attractive at night.

Since 2004, Batumi Art and Music Center has brought together the Batumi State Symphony Orchestra, the Batumi State Capella, the Ballet Troupe of Batumi State Opera and Ballet Theater, and the Musical Theater for Children and Adolescents.

Here, you can admire jazz concerts, musicals, classical and modern performances, operas, symphonic and folk concerts, and soloist shows. At the Batumi Art and Music Center, creative groups routinely participate in international music projects and festivals.
