Turtle Lake Downhill Track

Turtle Lake (also known as Kus Tba) in Tbilisi is on the northern slope of the Mtatsminda Range, 686 meters above sea level. The well-equipped area is one of the best locations for recreation and relaxation. The two-kilometer downhill paths start nearby the lake and end at Vake Park. At Vake Park, you can choose from three bike paths, two difficult paths, and one easy path.

Information

The track is great for both beginner and professional cyclists. Anyone who loves to ride a bike can choose to try their skills on different tracks.

Take your bike to the lake via the cable car near the Vake park. Enjoy the spectacular view of Tbilisi from Turtle Lake and if you have time, visit the Ethnographic Museum that is a true miniature model of Georgia.

What to Keep in Mind

Make sure to bring proper equipment, such as knee pads, a helmet, gloves, elbow pads, a camera, a first-aid kit, water, and spare parts.

You can take the Kus Tba Downhill track in any season, even in winter, if there is no snow.
