Beshtasheni Waterfall

Beshtasheni itself is an ancient village in which you can see the ruins of an ancient settlement, and several churches that are excellent examples of medieval Georgian architecture - St. Nicholas Church, St. George Church, and the St. John the Baptist Chapel.

The waterfall’s beauty can be attributed to the clarity of the Chilchili River’s waters. When combined with the unique sound conjured by the waterfall, it creates an almost magical atmosphere.

The waterfall is at its most impressive in the spring, with water level becoming low after August.
