The Bakuriani Resort in Borjomi Municipality is 1,700 meters above sea level. The first ski base in beautiful Bakuriani was opened in 1932 and today the resort has gained a world-class mountain/ski resort status.

From Borjomi, travel just 20 minutes by car to Bakuriani and buy a pass at the counter of the Didveli Cable Car. Make your way up with the cable car, and once you’re at the top of the station, begin your two-kilometer descent.

In Bakuriani, just like in Borjomi, there are pine forests, fresh air, and beautiful views.

What to Keep in Mind

Before setting off, make sure you brought the proper equipment: knee pads, a helmet, gloves, elbow pads, a camera, water, and a first-aid kit.
