Route

The tour starts from the village of Juta and follows the trail up to the so-called main camp, next to the Juta Lake. At the camp, the route turns left and heads towards a Chiukhi Pass. From here, the trail starts to descend sharply and arrives at the famous Abudelauri Lakes.

The route can be completed in 1-2 days.

The length of the trail is 15 km, and it is loaded with beautiful water bodies and spectacular views. The colourful lakes of Abudelauri stand out, namely, the White, Blue, and Green lakes. The lakes are covered with snow until the middle of May, and in August their water levels decrease significantly.

The Chiukhi Massif and mountain pass are magnificent. They are some of the truly spectacular places in the entire Caucasus. The village of Juta is also quite picturesque, located by the Snostskali River Valley, at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level.
