Mestia – Koruldi Lakes

From Mestia, cross through the Jvari Panoramic Viewpoint of Tskhakvzagari Pass, where you have a beautiful view of Ushba, Tetnuldi, and other peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. It’s a picturesque spot to have a picnic.

From that viewpoint, follow the path to three beautiful, ice-cold lakes, 2,700 meters above sea level. There are alpine meadows all around, where you can set up your tent. The sparkling, tranquil lakes with clouds and mountain peaks reflected in them will leave you speechless. There is also an enchanting view of the Zemo Svaneti village and the Enguri Valley.

It is not required to be well-conditioned to hike this route. You can easily get there on foot, on horseback, or by SUV.
