The route to the peak of Mount Laila begins in the village of Tviberi. Along the way, you’ll come across crystal-clear springs and quaint shepherd’s huts. After a few kilometres, you’ll come to Chizhdi Pass (3,200 metres above sea level), where you’ll have an excellent view of Ushba Peak.
The climb is difficult, so you’ll not only want to come well prepared, but should hire a certified guide to ensure you make the journey safely.
Mount Laila is also known by several other names, such as Lahili, and Layla.
