How to get to Okrostskali Lake

Visitors should begin their journey from the village Lekhi in Khaishi community, Svaneti Region. Be prepared to travel by off-road car and on foot, and make sure to have a local to guide you. 

To get from the large Okrostskali lake to the small one, you will follow a difficult path. The first Okrostskali lake is a stunning turquoise colour, surrounded by mountains. The second, smaller lake is a bit darker.  

From Okrostskali lakes, waterfalls cascade down the mountain, which you can see from the road, as well as alpine meadows, mountain rivers and springs. Although a difficult hike, each step along the way will provide memories to last a lifetime.
