Where is Shdugra Waterfall?

Shugdra Waterfall is located on the rightward tributary of the Dolara River, near the village of Mazeri. It takes a three kilometre hike to reach the base of the waterfall, with an additional three kilometres required if you wish to ascend to the top of the falls.

The path that leads to Shdugra starts in Mazeri Village, first crossing some fields, and then passing through beautiful pine forests. You will also have to cross the river, but the path is well-marked, so you will not get lost. What’s more is that this path will allow you to see Ushba Glacier, rivers, and Svan towers. A memorable hike!

The Nature You Will Encounter at Shdugra Waterfall

Shdugra Waterfall flows with the colors of the rainbow and is so active that, without a raincoat, you will end up soaking wet from its spray. If you visit during the summer, you will be able to swim in the cold pool beneath the waterfall, shining with all the colors of the rainbow.
