The route starts in Uchkhubi street in Bakhmaro and head towards Papara, 1900 meters above sea level, on the southern side of the river Bakhvistskali. The route follows the southern side of the ridge and then turns towards the valley on the right. To get to the highest point, follow the ridge towards the west. The highest point is Sakorenia mountain top, 2755 meters above sea level. You can ski on the eastern slope towards Papara. The descent takes between one and one and a half hours.
It is strongly advised to have a least one certified guide with you, who knows the area well and can select slopes safe from avalanche. The guide will check your equipment and give you relevant skiing instructions to ensure that the experience is safe and enjoyable.
