The festival is held in Tbilisi every spring, with professional choral groups from both Georgia and abroad taking part in the festivities.
Over the years, the following have taken part in the festival: the Lithuanian chamber choir Aidija, the Tallinn chamber choir Canorus, the Berlin chamber choir Cantamus Berlin, the Georgian state choir, and the Gori women’s chamber choir, and more.
Since its founding in 2013, the festival has hosted more than sixty choral collectives in the Grand Hall of the conservatory, as well as on famous stages and concert venues in Tbilisi, such as the Georgian National Museum and the National Library.
The purpose of the festival is simple: to preserve and further develop the centuries-old traditions of Georgian choral performance, and to popularize professional choirs.
