Over a week, you will see great works from young photographers next to photographic masterpieces of world-famous artists at different locations in Tbilisi.
Every year, the Tbilisi Photo Festival represents honored participants. The works of Guy Bourdin, a famous French photographer in the fashion world, were first displayed in the Caucasus. Exclusive exhibits of Alex Majoli and Antoine d’Agata, photographers from the most prestigious photo agency, Magnum Photos, were also displayed.
The Tbilisi Photo Festival not only has exhibitions, but other events, such as masterclasses, public lectures, and meetings with photographers. Guests can attend discussions, public lectures, and readings.
The festival was founded in 2010, by Lionel Charrier, a French photographer and the photo editor of Liberation Magazine, and the Georgian journalist, Nestan Nizharadze.
