Abanotubani Sulfur Baths

The bath-attendants here will chase away all the stress and toxins from your body, invigorating your body with new strength, while the sulfurous steam will clear your lungs and better prepare your immune system to fight against viruses.

In the past, people would go to the baths and stay for hours. It was a place for building relationships.

The very same baths used in those times are still in use today, and remain quite popular with locals and tourists alike.

The most famous baths in Abanotubani are Chreli Abano (the Colourful Bath), Bath #5, King Erekle’s Bath, the Bohema Bath, and Gulo’s Bath, as well as several public baths.

The Colourful Bath, with its amazing architecture, has stood in Tbilisi since the 17th century, and offers various massages along with the traditional bath.

Bath #5 will captivate you with its unique interior decorated with colorful mosaics.

You can use the pool at King Erekle’s sulfur bath, while the walls decorated with gorgeous stones and the whole ambience will transport you back in time.

Gulo’s Bath is also here, whose hot waters together with signature jam and tea have been enjoyed by famous musician, Sting.
