Winter Hiking and Snowshoeing in Kazbegi

In winter, snowshoeing is an excellent means of traveling from village to another and to live, inhale, and enjoy the snowy exoticism of Georgia’s mountains. This activity is particularly popular among older people who are not in the condition to ski, as well as photographers in search of the perfect locations for a shot of a lifetime. A snowshoe is oval-shaped and to be worn over normal shoes in order to facilitate movement in untracked snow. Snowshoes are frequently used by winter tourists, and at winter resorts.
