Dzmuisi Canyon is located on the southwestern slope of the Nakerala Ridge in Tkibuli Municipality, Region of Imereti.
The route starts in Dzmusi village, 1,050 meters above sea level. The canyon is 3.5 kilometers long with a descent of 650 meters. There are 13 waterfalls on this route, the tallest of which is 25 meters.
The canyon is built from granite rock layers and creates deep basins, which allow canyoners to slide down the waterfall and jump from a height of five meters. On nine of the waterfalls, you can go down with ropes. It takes 3.5 to 4 hours to cover the whole route.
The best time to go canyoning is from the middle of May to the end of October, when the average temperature is from 20 to 25 degrees.
Dzmuisi Village is 55 kilometers away from Kutaisi City and buses go to and from every day. You can also rent a car from the center of Dzmuisi. At the end of the paved road, take a 4-kilometer walking path through a forest.
Before canyoning, the instructors will explain in detail how to descend and control your speed and intensity. You will be securely tied to the top of the cliff and descend according to the route you learn beforehand.
Wear closed-toed sports shoes and comfortable clothing. A hydro suit, helmet, and rock climber’s belt will be provided for you.

Do not take any items with you that are not waterproof. It's better to leave them in the car for the duration of the tour.
