Tetra Cave is located in the center of Tskaltubo municipality, Imereti Region is at least 30,000 years old. As a result of archaeological excavations, 15,000 artifacts have been found on this site including bones of ancient primates, weapons, as well as bones of bears, deer, wolves, and foxes.
The length of the cave is about 110 meters, covered in a variety of old siphon channels. It is rich in rock formations, including stalagmites, stalactites, columns, and "floating calcites."
Due to the fact that the cave is in wetlands and the temperature here is a constant 14 degrees, it’s a perfect environment for aging wine. During your visit, you will be able to not only see this stunning cave, but you can also taste wines made from local grape varieties.
