History of Wine Museum

Over the centuries, this beautiful building was damaged multiple times and then restored. However, the original cellars have been well-preserved. The historic cellars of Caravanserai are connected by tunnels 8 meters underneath the ground.

In the Wine Museum of Tbilisi, wine production-related artifacts discovered during the archeological works are exhibited. Museum guides will tell you about Georgian wine history, and will share old methods and modern technologies of winemaking. Along with an informative tour, be sure to enjoy a wine-tasting session.
