Heshkili village, 6 kilometers from Mestia, has magical views of Laila peak. From Koruldi lakes, you can see Tetnuldi, Banguriani, and Zuruldi peaks. Shdugra waterfall is the largest flowing waterfall in Georgia. 

Ushguli community is sitting at the foot of Shkhara, the highest peak in Georgia. You’ll find high towers from the Middle Ages raised to the sky. 

Chazhashi village of Ushguli community is on the UNESCO monument list. The village has 13 towers, 4 fortresses, 21 Svanetian houses (Machubi), 11 houses, and more than 10 subsidiary buildings.



The Abano Pass takes you up to Tusheti region with the center in Omalo village, and is open only from the June till the end of October. You couldn’t ask for a better background for photos than the fields when alpine flowers bloom in June. This is the pass that was included on the list of the most dangerous roads in Europe by BBC in 2013. 

Dartlo village, 15 km away from Omalo, is like a fairytale. The medieval court of 12 juries has 12 stone armchairs that are a must-see. At the end of the XVII century, the head judge was a woman. 

Don’t skip Bochorna village, one of the highest populated places in Europe. 

Tsinandali Estate

The palace in the Tsinandali Estate was built by the Georgian romantic writer, Aleksandre Chavchavadze, in the XIX century. He brought in landscape designers from Europe to help construct the decorative garden.

The rich architecture of the palace, the park that is now a museum, ancient trees and plants, and Love Alley all make for an ideal backdrop. Tsinandali Estate is 10 kilometers from Telavi and is wonderful at any time of the year.

Sabaduri Forest

Sabaduri Forest is 20 kilometers from Tbilisi, in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, and is part of Tbilisi National Park territory.

It is magical in autumn full of beeches and oaks trees with yellow leaves. It becomes a white fairytale in winter when the whole forest looks like Narnia.



This city attracts tourists for many reasons, including its cultural past, unique churches, and beautiful nature. Visit the Motsameta architectural complex, 6 kilometers from Kutaisi, and enjoy the amazing view of the city. 

Don’t break the tradition and take a photo next to the Picasso boy on the White Bridge.



Racha Region is a natural wonder in Western Georgia. Visit in autumn for stunning backdrops of yellow leaves. The Nikortsminda Cathedral, Udziro lake, Shaori lake, and Znakva waterfalls are also exceptional.

The Gergeti church is an architectural monument from the XIV century, 2,200 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by gorgeous nature with a majestic glacier of Kazbegi Mountains sitting behind it.
