The village of Kojori sits on a branch of the Trialeti Range, 1,350 meters above sea level and nine kilometers from Georgia's capital, Tbilisi. Its paths start at Udzo Monastery located approximately 20 km away from Tbilisi, nearby Kojori village, and head down towards Kus Tba (Turtle Lake) which is already within the city borders. You can take many paths down: quick, slow, or featuring more technical segments for advanced bikers
The mountain climate is pleasant during the hot summer days and has beautiful views from the Kojori Plateau. Two important monuments on this plateau are the Kojori Fortress and Udzo Monastery, sites you cannot miss along your way downhill!
Before you start the tour, check to make sure that you bring knee pads, a helmet, gloves, elbow pads, a camera, a first-aid kit, water, snacks and spare parts.
The Kojori - Kus Tba bike tour is rideable in any season, even in winter, as long as there is no snow.
